Pocket: Stay Informed App Reviews

So, now theres a bunch of crap at the top of my list that I cant get rid of, in addition to all the other crap polluting my list that I cant get rid of. I use Pocket to make cluttered articles readable. Now, Pocket puts even more clutter in. No thanks.

Beautiful and great functionality. Just updating my review. It was great and with tags its perfect. I tried Instapaper and wasnt a fan, this is the best save it later service.

The recommendations that recently showed up on the app is really annoying! I wish it gets removed or have the option to hide it! If anything though, I wish they put an-inside-app browser so i dont have to go to a separate app to save articles!

Pocket is becoming a staple app, in part because its integrated with everything from Firefox to Kobo now. It used to be a handy way to clip web articles for later reading, saving you time. Lately they are pushing harder and from more angles than ever to make you read more and more of their recommended content. Worse yet, its relevant... so instead of saving an hour, you lose 4. I dont know if I can recommend it anymore, but I do use it, even though my once tidy list of sites to see is now an insurmountable mountain of random stuff Ill never scratch the surface of. Im thinking now of just scrapping it and walking away since its become one more time sucking online chore.

Keep saving articles all the time. Its a great app for read later items ! And some articles you want to save and keep

I love the concept of being able to save webpages and read them later when I am sitting in the park with no WiFi available to my iPad. Sadly, sometimes Pocket only saves a portion of the page, and often far from 100%. This happens most often with technical articles from PCWorld, Info-packets, Apple news, etc. - stuff that I need time to digest. When it gets it right, its great, but unfortunately that isnt all the time - not nearly. Repeating the Save to Pocket process does not help. For a troublesome article, the bad result is the same despite repeated attempts.

Love this. Does exactly what it says it will do. In the future I wish more offline cache would happen with photos so I can read this on the go without using mobile data.

Pocket has almost everything covered for reading web articles later and bookmarking them. Platform plugins for major browsers and integrations with 3rd party services, along with very good saving and reading experiences, make Pocket a damn near must-have for anyone looking to curate web articles for later perusal.

I really like the suggested articles and love the options it provides me to read them at my leisure. I find I have to delete the unread ones regularly...

I love Pocket for saving articles to read later. The new suggested articles feature is really annoying and there does not appear to be a way to turn it off. I want the old Pocket back!

Most useful app

Pocket is a very useful app. Ive always used it to save articles that I wanted to read later, but realized recently that its true power is its offline mode. I was able to read articles on a plane and in a foreign country while completely offline!

Pocket is unequivocally a must have app for any iOS device. Its functionality and reliability is uncontested by any other app and is the read later app to be sure you have on your device. It is even a great file storage system for articles that you can categorize with tags and retrieve on any device at any time without even being online! Great support and updating by great people! Well done people of Pocket!

Apple have changed widgets design and maybe you should do that too.
